Exergy3 has been selected to Cleantech Group’s 2025 50 to Watch—a global list spotlighting early-stage innovators tackling the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. The list is built from thousands of nominations, filtered by data-driven review, and vetted by an international expert panel to identify companies most likely to make significant market impact over the next 5–10 years.

This recognition is important—not only because it continues to build momentum for Exergy3, but because it raises awareness of our technology, the industry’s challenges, and the solutions that reduce CO₂.

Why we’re being recognised: Exergy3’s modular thermal energy storage (TES) converts electricity into heat, stores it up to 1,300 °C, and delivers controllable hot-gas heat for processes from ~50–1,000 °C, with estimated round-trip efficiency >98%. It’s practical decarbonisation that scales, is configurable to site needs, and uses compact, energy-dense modules.

By “turning up demand rather than turning down generation,” we transform excess clean power into controllable industrial heat, reducing curtailment and emissions.

Across sectors, Exergy3’s TES delivers on-demand steam and process heat for food & beverage, chemicals, cement, concrete & aggregates, paper & packaging, pharmaceuticals, district heating networks, data centres, wood & forestry, mining, and agriculture—as well as other heat-reliant industries. Our modular systems integrate with existing equipment to cut emissions and provide cost certainty. If your operation runs on heat, we can decarbonise it.

Being named on 50 to Watch underscores why our work matters: unlocking more renewable use, cutting industrial emissions where it’s hardest, and helping the energy system “turn up demand” instead of wasting clean generation.
